J. A. Curia, Esq.
J.A. has deep competencies in general business law, Labor & Employment/Human Resources law and Commercial Litigation. These competencies are rooted in his experience as both an attorney and a HR professional. His experience inside a large law firm, the public sector and a Fortune 500 manufacturing company, give J.A. a unique and pragmatic perspective when it comes to addressing business, compliance, litigation and people issues.
He has handled issues and cases as complex as multi-district litigation and state court appeals, but also the less glamorous world of EEOC compliance and disparate impact analysis. This is in addition to advising employers on a host of business, as well as employment questions ranging from hiring through termination. Beyond his experience inside a large defense firm, his time as a federal district court law clerk and an Assistant Attorney General also allow him to offer valuable insight into how a court, or potential regulators, may view an issue.
